I have been photographing professionally for 20 years, I have a BA and MA in Photography, I'm a visiting lecturer at Westminster University on the Photography BA, I am passionate about all things photographic and I love food.

Course Content to Include:

Camera settings – including program modes, white balance, aperture, shutter speeds, lenses and focal length, ISO settings, RAW vs JPEG

Editing and processing – focused on Adobe Bridge, Adobe Lightroom, skills are transferrable to other software. Guidance offered on file formats, dimensions, colour profiles.

The course will cover setting up cameras and approaching the subject, the technical aspects of cameras and software, as well as the 'language' of food photography. We will create a space to look at, consider and practice photography, centred around food and drink.

Aimed at people wanting to get the most out of their existing equipment, ideal for those wanting to photograph their own recipes, dishes in restaurants, shooting ingredients and food preparation. Bloggers, writers, those wanting to improve the quality of photography, and wanting to get the most out of their existing equipment.
